Rescue Me ID: 17-04-23-00091Southie (male)

Papillon Mix    Age: Young Adult

Compatibility: Good with Most Dogs, Good with Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

Hello I'm Southie! I just turned 2 years old and I'm looking for my forever home. I'm 16lbs and I can be pretty rambunctious and playful, but I also enjoy just snuggling down with you on the couch or finding a quiet spot in the sun to relax. (I really love my foster parents' patio.) I love taking walks outside and I enjoy meeting and playing with other dogs. Here's a video of me playing fetch! https://goo.gl/photos/fakVbA5ZCoYqSZ3Z9 I'm crate trained and understand about things and places in the house that are not for dogs. I don't have a lot of tricks in my repertoire but I learn fast and respond well to treats. I'm wary of strange ... (Read More)people coming into my space unexpectedly so I need a bit of time to adjust to new humans. It also might take a couple days to feel comfortable in a new space but it's worth it to find my forever home! Southie is neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccines. Southie is being fostered in Somerville, MA. The adoption fee is $350. If you are interested in finding out more about Southie, please fill out an application on our website by copying and pasting the following link into your browser: http://www.brokentailrescue.org/adoption-application/ We expect that all adopted dogs will enroll in a formal dog training class with their new owners. Obedience and training classes are an excellent way to learn more about your newly adopted dog, gain handling and training experience, and improve your relationship with your pet. Rescue Me ID: 16-10-01-00178Jada (female)

American Staffordshire Terrier Mix    Age: Young Adult

Compatibility: Good w/ Male Dogs Only, Not Good w/ Cats, Good w/ Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current

Jada is the most adorable 43lb, 7 year old pocket pittie you will ever meet. Jada is extremely people friendly and gets along with everyone immediately. She wins everyone over with her sweet demeanor and unconditional love. If you are looking for a cuddle partner, look no further - Jada is your girl! Jada thinks she is a lap dog and will curl up on your lap or wrap herself in blankets to take a nap. She is already housetrained, and knows sit, paw, and down. Jada loves to eat, but will patiently sit and wait for her food until you tell her it's ok. Since she is so food motivated, she is a really fun dog to train! She learns quickly ... (Read More)and recently mastered crate, stay, and drop it, and we are currently working on listening with distractions and not jumping to greet people. Jada would love to continue her training in her new home and would also benefit from formal training. You would never guess Jada is 7! She is a little ball of energy who loves to go for runs and play tug-of-war. She gets really into play time so older, dog savvy children or adults would be best for her. Jada is very reactive to other dogs on leash. She is also selective with dogs during playtime and only gets along with large submissive males after proper introductions. We haven't seen her with cats, but from her interest in squirrels, no cats is best. Jada has been very happy being the only pet in the household! Jada is also wonderful in the car! If you are interested in finding out more about Jada, please fill out an application on our website and her foster parent will reach out to you! http://www.brokentailrescue.org/adoption-application/ See more pictures and updates here: https://www.facebook.com/Katiesfosterdog/ Jada is being fostered in Newton, MA and the adoption fee is $300.
